The top Nigerian singer had earlier today released the highly anticipated video for his track, Smile.
Taking to his Instagram Stories moment back, Wizkid shared an appreciation message to the men who changed his life.
The reason for this show of gratitude is not far-fetched as both men paved way for Wizkid’s success when they signed him to their record label, Empire Mates Entertainment, in 2009.
In his post, he showed support for his former record label, EME, even though he has since floated his record label, Starboy Entertainment. He wrote;
“Thank you to these guys for changing my life @Bankyw @captdemuren. EME 4 ever.”
In another exchange between the pair on Instagram, Banky showed appreciation to Wizkid’s announcement of the video release, and the singer was quick to reveal that he was forever thankful of Wellington. See exchange below;
In other reports, Wizkid’s three son Boluwatife, King Ayo and Zion have been featured in his new “smile ” music video with H.E.R.
However, Star Boy decided to give his fans a glimpse in to his personal life, as he featured his three sons, who were birthed by three different women in his new music video.
9-year-old Boluwatife Balogun is the eldest of Wizkid’s three son, while 4 year-old King Ayo is 4mthe second son and the last son is Zion who is 2 years old.
