Patoranking shares rare photo with his dad on vacation in New York

Patoranking and his Dad are really having the best time of the lives as they holiday in New York, United States.

The dancehall singer who shared a photo with his Dad on Instagram, recounted that they once never had such moment. He wrote;

‘Father and Son ?? Daddy We Getting Everything we never had. ‘

Patoranking had before now stated that poverty is now a taboo for him. According to him, when he remembers his past life, he hustles harder to ensure he never goes back to poverty. He also vowed never to forget where he comes from.

“Whenever I remember where I’m coming from, I am inspired to hustle harder. I grew up in poverty and I don’t ever want to go back to that again. If you listen to my songs, you would notice that I’m always trying to motivate people that there is no one that cannot be successful. Once you have something to offer and you work hard, the world is yours for the taking” he said.

On what he is doing to support other youngsters in the ghetto, he said:

“I don’t have to announce whatever help I render to people. As far as I’m concerned, it is between me and God. I help the people I can in my own little way because I believe I am blessed by God so as to be a blessing to others as well.”

Patoranking is a singer and songwriter recognized for his infusion of reggae and dancehall with a Nigerian twist. Having grown up in Ebute Metta, the artist is known to have made a name underground before going mainstream.

“Music for me started at an early age, I started as a dancer,” he says. “I was dancing to many sounds, but most especially the Galala sounds…. I fell in love with it because I was in the ghetto and Galala music runs the ghetto” he said.
