“My brother has become a victim of circumstances”, Friends defend man who stabbed his baby mama on her birthday

Friends of Nigerian man Ibisaki Ikiriko, who stabbed his baby mama to death few days ago in the Buguma area of Port-Harcourt in Rivers State have taken to social media to defend his actions calling him “a victim of circumstances”.

Ikiriko had allegedly stabbed Desire Sokari West to death on her birthday, because she gave him what is being called a “romantic slap”.

In a series of Facebook posts that have been taken down, Livingstone Membere described Ikiriko as “quiet, calm and collected” who is incapable of hurting anyone.

Another friend of Ikiriko, Comrade Saturday Ngoji, alleged that the now deceased baby mama was the one who had planned to kill Ikiriko and not the other way around.

The new information from friends of Ikiriko is a complete irony of what the sister of the deceased had revealed on Facebook only few days ago.

Irreplaceable Daniela, as she goes by on Facebook had said that Ikiriko had stabbed her sister even before paying her bride price and she is in shock.
