Biggy237: Nigerians mock Cameroonian version of Big Brother show

Nigerians have taken to Twitter, to talk about the Cameroon Big Brother show after photos from the country’s show emerged online.

Many Nigerians couldn’t help but make comments on it, as they compared it to the ongoing Big Brother Naija.

This is the first edition of the Biggy 237 kicked off on August 2 with FCFA 10 million as prize money to be won.

“Biggy 237 aims at nurturing talent and inspiring hope in young Cameroonians. It is a talent driven show which brings out creativity, innovation and showcase the talent of its contestants. Biggy237 creates a platform to showcase the skills and talents of its contestants, while entertaining the public,” the organizers said.

Nigerians are now mocking them after photos of the apartments where the housemates are staying hit the internet. One person said it looked like an Isolation center.

In the photos shared online, one could see posters on the wall with ‘biggy’ signs inscribed on them. 13 housemates were seen gathered at a small dining table as they sat down to eat a meal of bread and tea.

Three ladies were also spotted in a small kitchen as they fixed something for the other housemates.

Another photo also showed some housemates gathered in a sitting room. While some were relaxing on a sofa, two housemates were playing a game of ludo.
